Primary care and a family doctor near Firebaugh

Firebaugh families choose Arya Medical Group for the same reasons Mendota families do: an appointment this week instead of next month, the same doctor at every visit, and everything handled in Spanish. We accept Medi-Cal and we are taking new patients.

Why make the drive

What Firebaugh patients tell us matters

You have choices closer to home, and we would not pretend otherwise. Here is what people who drive to Mendota say they come for.

  • An appointment you can actually get

Call in the morning and we can usually see you the same day. Waiting weeks for a routine visit is the main thing patients tell us pushed them to look further afield.

  • The same doctor, every visit

You are not rotated through whoever is on shift. Your clinician knows your history, your family and your medications without having to start over.

  • Medi-Cal sorted before you arrive

We verify your plan ahead of time and tell you what it covers, so a fifteen-minute drive never ends in a surprise bill.

  • One trip, not two

Lab work, screenings, vaccines and physical forms are all done on site — worth more when you are driving in from out of town.

Questions from Firebaugh patients

How far is Arya Medical Group from Firebaugh?
About fifteen minutes, straight south on Highway 33 into Mendota. We are at 121 Belmont Ave, Ste 100, with free parking outside.
I have Medi-Cal assigned to a Firebaugh clinic. Can I change to you?
Usually yes. Medi-Cal members can change their assigned primary care provider. Call (559) 424-0610 and we will explain exactly how, and confirm your plan.
Can my children be seen there too?
Yes. We see the whole family — well-child visits, school and sports physicals, and childhood vaccines, with the shot record you need for enrollment.
Do you do school and sports physicals for Firebaugh students?
Yes, and we complete and sign the form during the visit so you are not driving back a second time. Call early in the August rush.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. The front desk, the nursing staff and the physicians all speak Spanish, so the whole visit can happen in Spanish.
Do I need to be an existing patient to call?
No. New patients are welcome, and most Firebaugh families start with a phone call to ask what we can do and how soon.
